I don't really like Ryan's obsession with cutting the social safety net but other than that he is largely sane and reasonable. If we get rid of him we will likely end up with one of the White nationalist bigots (ie: Steve King) or one of the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus crazies. The House would go from gridlocked to completely stalemated. Literally nothing would get done.
The best option would be some sort of coalition between moderate Republicans and the sensible Democrats with someone like Charlie Dent as Speaker.
You think enough moderate Republicans will cross over and caucus with Democrats on this?
After decades of fierce partisanship by the Republican Party, they now want 'bipartisanship' help from the Democratic Party to save the Republicans from their Freedom Caucus wing?
Hey, Republicans! You guys brought the Tea Party / Freedom Caucus to the Washington Prom and got yourselves elected Prom King - don't blame the Democrats when the Freedom Caucus refuses to dance with you in the spotlight dance.
I said it before, I'll say it again - the Republican Party has spent the past seven years as an opposition obstructionist party, now that they have complete control of the federal government, they have simply no idea how to govern.

Well, they are filling the void left by Barnum & Bailey going toes up.
Well judge- your idol separated himself from your version- of watch FOUX news- - thought you were on point? ha! T and Ryan are in it together until death do them part-(political)

We would only need 24 I think to get the required 218 votes, add a few more for cushion so we'll say 30. The Tuesday Group has about 50 members. It's doable I think.
With the Russia investigation unfolding, Trump is doing his bet to distract attention any way he can. Boris Epshteyn just got his walking papers.
Apparently, Ryan is next.
ah yes, and yet still we have rightwing lunes claiming there is no russian connection. ..Boris the bullet dodger was born in Russia, it is hard not to draw the parallel with "The Americans".

Actually the story is that Trump does. (Maybe). I've not seen the Republicans ask for it.
