Hannity is bad for America, and so is Koppel, Fox News, CNN & MSNBC. It's one thing for ignorant voters to spread inaccurate information, but it's another when people who know better like Hannity and Koppel spread partisan nonsense while consciously omitting their counterparts partly legitimate views. 24/7 news is mostly a collection of partisans, and they sensationalize very little thing (CNN is the worst) for ratings - it just gets people worked up unnecessarily. People are outraged at every little thing, without any depth of understanding usually. CBS, ABC, NBC news aren't as bad, but they're guilty of entertainment too.

These days you have to find news on your own (PBS Newshour at least presents both sides in a civil manner), and seek out the POV of moderate right and moderate left sources. If you just plant yourself in front of any one network or online source/POV and consume what comes out at you, there's little chance you'll fully appreciate any issue...
