It seems that some Trump supporters will never be able to be convinced that their Messiah isn't who they think he is.

As for Pence, he would face a lot of scrutiny as well from the left but with him, it would be more based on policy issues. With Pence, you would have a smoother-running White House without all the constant drama. I wouldn't worry so much about foreign policy under Pence as I do under Trump.

Pence won't be great, but we can survive him for 4 years until we elect a Democrat in 2020.

Some one posted a thread here about NYT article on this Uranium deal and further cash flowing into their trust. I think out of all his crazy tweets, this is little reasonable.

No. I think Pence was involved in it as well. His constant insistence that he knew nothing, that he wasn't involved, that they kept him in the dark seems like he doth protest too much.

Trump keeps telling this lie and so naturally, the Trump faithful keep repeating and reposting. But it is still a lie.

This BS was originally spread by Peter Schweizer, an editor-at-large at Breitbart.

Russia did not get, and is unlikely ever to get, any nuclear material from the U.S.

Rosatom wanted to purchase a stake in Uranium One holdings which include 20% of U.S. uranium reserves.

As Russia doesn’t have the licenses to export uranium outside the United States, though they may own an interest in the company, they cannot export the uranium.

"United States doesn’t actually produce all that much uranium (about 2 percent in 2015) and is actually a net importer of the chemical, according to Jeffrey Lewis, a nuclear nonproliferation expert at Middlebury Institute."

Furthermore, State was one of nine government agencies, not to mention independent federal and state nuclear regulators, that had to sign off on the the Kremlin’s 2010 purchase of a stake in Uranium One. It had to be approved by the nine members of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States which includes the Secretary of State, but also the Secretaries of the Treasury (who is the chairman of the committee), Defense, Justice, Commerce, Energy and Homeland Security as well as the the heads of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and the Office of Science and Technology Policy. The deal also had to be okayed by the independent Nuclear Regulatory Commission as well as Utah’s nuclear regulator.

The State Department’s principal representative on the committee, Jose Fernandez, told Time that Clinton "never intervened with me on any CFIUS matter."

Donald Trump inaccurately suggests Clinton got paid to approve Russia uranium deal | PolitiFact

I has explained this numerous times on this very forum. The truth is also easily available online as well.

The but-but-Clinton doesn't work anymore.

Nunse is running all over town acting like he's got his meds mixed up.

Rumor has it that Flynn is spilling the beans to the FBI/NSA this very moment.

Then there's Manafort, Page, and Stone offering to testify at Congressional hearings. Not to mention Yates to be interviewed.

Trump's response - send out more lying emails to try and divert attention.

Folks are on to this "clever trick."

As we have seen for years, the truth rarely enters into the story when the right's obsession with the Clintons is involved. It is just their fevered imagination and willingness to demonize the Clintons at all costs that shuts down any higher brain functions they may have.

Seems to be.

The strange part is that Trump is an example of all the accusations they've thrown at Clinton over the years.

The man really needs to be removed from that office. Just so wrong on so many levels having him in there.

Funny, I thought it was Democrats in deflect mode following the final nail being driven into their coffin on November 8th.

No concession speech.

Recounts in WI, MI and PA.

Desperately trying to swing electors.

Talk of impeachment even before the inauguration.

And now alleged Russian hacking with no real evidence that Russia hacked anything.

Clapper and Comey both on record that no evidence exist of collusion or cooperation with Russian state actors by Trump campaign officials, even though the investigation of the Trump campaign predates the election and has been ongoing since.

There is no Russian mess.

That's a fairy tale Democrats comfort each other with as they cry themselves to sleep in a country that has told them in no uncertain term to go **** themselves.
