It does explain some of the unquestioning enthusiasm here on this board for Trump at least.

It is not surprising, then, that the Kremlin would pay internet trolls to pose as Trump supporters and build him up online. In fact, that would be the easy part.

From his interviews with former trolls employed by Russia, Chen gathered that the point of their jobs "was to weave propaganda seamlessly into what appeared to be the nonpolitical musings of an everyday person."

"Russia's information war might be thought of as the biggest trolling operation in history," Chen wrote. "And its target is nothing less than the utility of the Internet as a democratic space."

Since when did Alex Jones work for Business Insider and make up conspiracy theories?

This sounds just as bad as when Amy Schumer blamed the "Alt-Right" for her failing as a comedian and getting 1 star reviews on her special.

Why is it so hard to believe that Americans support Trump?

Since when is Business Insider or Forbes on par with Alex Jones? Of course Trump has support, including from the Russians. FBI director Comey admitted as much. Russia was just using every trick in the KGB book to get Trump across the finish line, including a troll army.

LOL.
Alex Jones is the guy saying that gay lizards and frogs are taking over the federal government.

LOL at anyone who takes him seriously.

The internet trolls is not surprising at all. It's really effective strategy from a 'branding' perspective.
Smart move by Russians and Trump

Because we're making up theories based from:

"That is what freelance journalist Adrian Chen, now a staff writer at The New Yorker, discovered as he was researching Russia's "army of well-paid trolls" for an explosive New York Times Magazine exposé published in June 2015."

I mean, really?? We're taking sources from freelance journalist Adrian Chen now and using that as "real news?"

When will you realize articles like this just make the left look absolutely ignorant and insane? Not the other way around?

Just take a look at absolutely insane MSM has been acting the past few months over Trump. And these antifa people attacking random Trump rallies. I'm pretty sure that unless Russians aren't responsible for their looney tune behavior.

I don't know about paid internet trolls on other forums, but I've wondered about it on this one.
Has anyone else noticed that number of messages from those on your ignore list seems to have diminished considerably lately?

So, if what you're saying is accurate, half the Trump supporters on CD here are actually...Russian spies?

OH SNAP!
