Another key issue he folds on.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.88fb3562182e
Quote:
The Trump administration will seek modest — but numerous — changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement, according to a draft of a letter sent to Congress last week, displaying a much more conventional approach to trade negotiation than the dramatic changes President Trump had suggested he planned to seek.

The draft letter suggests a much more diplomatic tone than Trump has threatened to use during NAFTA renegotiations. It says, among other things, that the White House would look to strengthen cooperation under the World Trade Organization, an international group that the Trump administration had suggested in the past it might not abide by.

How do you figure? DT backed the ACHApocalypses, that does the opposite of what he promised during the campaign.

He loaded his cabinet with the swamp people, the opposite of what he promised during the campaign.

He gave Verizon and Comcast the right to sell your internet history.

He got rid of regulations that help us breathe under the fiction that it would help coal miners, but everyone who knows the industry said it won't.

Tom Price just overruled a rule that stopped a pesticide from being used that harms children -- so now it can be used and harm children.

These are just a few. According to you, these were 100% correct positions?

Another news report:
Trump NAFTA Renegotiation Draft Notice Exposes an All-Talk No-Action Plan | Sierra Club National
Quote:
“For all his grandstanding and bluster, Trump failed to put forth a plan to renegotiate NAFTA in the American people’s interest. As a candidate and now in office, Trump promised a serious renegotiation that would put American workers first and end corporate giveaways, but this plan fails to keep that promise and instead looks an awful lot like the TPP deal defeated by a movement of millions and decried by Trump himself. The American people deserve a real renegotiated NAFTA that will protect our workers, our communities, and our environment, not the same broken deal with Trump’s logo printed on it.”

Get peoples hopes op and then cut them off at the knees. The POTUS is showing us who he is everyday. The GOP and POTUS are giving nothing to the people who voted for them. They are only looking out for the Corporate interests.
