And still people believe that today we are dealing with a kinder, gentler Russia, led by the popular thug Vladimir Putin. They haven't changed their end goal in any way whatsoever from the old days of the USSR. They are playing us a lot smarter though, they have abandoned the direct approach in favor of subversion. Trump's total denial of connections to Russia, whether direct and intentional, or incidental through surrogates surely speaks volumes. Why would he be in such vehement opposition to this investigation if he/they have nothing to hide?
Nope, I consider myself moderate, leaning left on most issues. I would accept the socialist tag but never a communist.
Same here. Communism is not a good form of government. I wouldn't want our president getting too friendly with Communists. McCarthy used to accuse innocent people of being Communists. Fine if they really had been Communists, but he went after anyone whose life he wanted to ruin, using the Communism label as an excuse.
