However, I do care about low income people getting birth control and getting tested for STD's, and getting basic reproductive healthcare. I think these are worthwhile endeavors that are good for society as a whole. But I totally understand that some people in our society don't want poor people to get any kind of healthcare.
Then set up a non profit organization yourself and fund it with private donations. Or hold a fundraising dinner party for Planned Parenthood.

Doesn't matter how good the quality of life as long as the body is still breathing.
How much of a tax increase are you willing to pay for all of the additional children that will be added to the welfare roles and the foster care system?
What are you willing to do to ensure that they all have a good quality of life?
