People generally like to see any arrogant A hole fail. It is human nature.

Failures:

Round 1 of ACA Repeal & Replace flopped.

Both Muslim travel bans tied up in court.

International leaders regard him as a nut case. (See Angela Merkel's expression.) He's openly argued with several.

Accused Obama of wiretapping him. FBI called him a liar.

Accused British Intelligence of wiretapping him for Obama. British and NSA called him a liar.

Not a single piece of legislation passed by Congress.

Congress is investigating his involvement with Putin on the election.

Did miss anything?

In a different thread, somebody posted (Paraphrasing) that if Trump fails, we get Pence. While most Liberals absolutely HATE everything Pence stands for, at least we know that he's got some amount of sanity. That he respects the office, and will not get us into a war based on his fragile ego being hurt. That he won't send out midnight tweets offending our allies around the world (and inside the USA). To be clear, libs will still be against the agenda, and will still speak out about it, but we'll be able to sleep at night knowing that we are not at the mercy of a crazy-man.

You can tell me I speak in generalities, but the actual complaints are on these forums if you care to look for them (they are EVERYWHERE!). The fact is that a majority of Americans think he is detrimental to our economy, to our constitution, to the Presidency itself, to decency in general, and to our WAY OF LIFE. He's already left a scar on our country, we are just now hoping he fails and is out of office before he forces us to amputate many of the things that makes America Great.

Please tell us what you're calling his 'supposed' failures as opposed to his real failures.

That's really unethical and it's rude of him to be so inconsiderate to the people who live nearby. Even if he stays home now and then, he's still outpaced all presidents before him on leisure travel spending by a YUGE amount.

He's not managed to get his "Muslim ban" off the ground and while I'm pleased that it keeps blowing up in his face, I'm not pleased that he even started down this path in such a ham-fisted way to begin with.

His whole partnership with Ryan on this great plan he claimed he had all along (that he did not have) to repeal and replace the ACA "from day one" was a lie and a disaster.

He keeps signing away things that matter to me like clean air and fresh water. And not disrupting Native American holy ground.

He's basically a bull in a china shop and he makes us all look stupid.

I could keep listing stuff, but what's the point? You think it's all wonderful and I think it sucks.

It is not, however. FAKE NEWS.

I think many are still on the payroll of the Democratic Party to keep this negativity alive. The media feeds it to their minions who eagerly suck it up and spew it out.

Most intelligent people are fed up with it and find it an embarrassment. More nails in the coffin of the Democratic Party! Let them continue.

I wish him well in the sense that I have empathy for other humans. I doubt he extends me the same courtesy, because I just don't think he looks far enough down to see who he's stepping on.

That said, in the past, we have typically had presidents with actual experience in some form of government (please don't try to tell me that a man who has a degree in Constitutional law and experience as a senator on the state and federal levels is unqualified... Obama was qualified).

Before him we had Bush Jr., who had been governor of Texas. Before him was Clinton, who was governor of Arkansas, before him was Bush Sr. who was VP, former director of the CIA, and a Congressman from Texas, among other positions... he was very well qualified, really... even Reagan was Governor of California before he became POTUS.

I get that some people think they are edgy when they try to vote for a "Washington outsider." I really do. But, even as much as Sanders tried to bill himself as such, he meant it symbolically. That man has been in politics for decades and he's no outsider.

Clinton has held a number of high-level positions and knew better than try to pretend she was anything like an outsider.

She was also quite qualified, even if you disagree with her politics or just don't like her.

I mean, I really like a lot of people, but I don't think I'd vote one who seemed to never have so much as picked up a copy of the Constitution except to use as a placemat to the highest office in the land. To Congress? Maybe if they really seemed to be running a good platform.

People tend to want to see a seasoned individual running the entire country.

He's a loose cannon and I guess he makes people who feel like they cannot achieve greatness feel like maybe if he can be president, they can do anything they want... but, remember... he's a trust fund baby.

They can all do whatever they want. If Paris Hilton herself wanted to be in office, she could figure out a way to make it happen and she's really not qualified for it.

In short, if you have enough money, you can make it. And, that is how it has always been in this country.

The rest of them, as noted in the list above, had to do a bit more work to succeed.

As do the rest of us, the Americans that the POTUS is supposed to serve.

No... not really. I mean, I'm not a Democrat and never have been and I see plenty of reasons to keep pointing out Trump's failures.

He really is not doing a good job.
