Not even when Russia calls to tell us to watch out for the guy who became the Boston bomber??????

and the same federal spy agencies that told obama ISIS was the jv team and the world is a more tranquil place and it was a good idea to pull out of iraq and benghazi was caused by a video all got together and told obama the guy Russia warned us about was not a problem..........

So where do you think the problem lies???????

Come on dude - Russia is a very unfriendly country - interfering in the affairs of all their neighbors, suppressing minorities, killing critics. Talk to anyone of their neighbors (including the Russians) in the Baltics, Poland, Hungry, and of course the Ukraine they know Russia well and have very well founded reasons for their ill feelings.

Meanwhile against all logic Trump keeps pushing relaxation of sanctions and those ties between his staff and Russian operatives keep appearing. Oh and the FBI are not members of the Democratic party.

Awwww .... poor Russia is just 'misunderstood' .

Except for the BIG FACT that in our time, it is understood that countries don't go around taking over chunks of other countries (or entire countries) anymore - especially without the consent of the populace. Russia needs to get with the times. Imperialism stopped being acceptable sometime around 1945. You can keep what you had before then, but you can't take more.

When was the last time a Western country seized land from another country, or outright took over another country? The late 1800s? The Chinese and Russian imperialists need to get with the times.

Well, I hope it is worth US created power vacuums, arming ISIS, arming Al Qaeda, arming Hezbollah, and arming other Jihadist groups all with free US weapons.

Because that is the method Obama chose.

Hyper partisan drivel.

# 1 Democrats applauded not only Hillary's "Russian reset button," but her speech on needing to empathize with all in the world even our opponents to understand where they are coming from to resolve situations peacefully or even militarily if need be. Now Democrats applaud Hillary's lack of depth comments where Putin is Hitler.

I say, we should always try to think like our opponents to see what they want, etc...

#2 Russia isn't taking over Syria. If anything, Obama was arming terrorist groups like ISIS that is taking over Syria. Who had more freedoms Assad's Syria or ISIS' Syria? We didn't need to choose a side and we chose the greater of two evils when we decided to arm "moderate rebels" no matter how many times the weapons kept going to every terrorist group over there.

#3 What is worse? Putin taking over Crimea with the consent of most of the people in Crimea OR the US repeatedly arming ISIS/Al Qaeda/Hezbollah/etc...that conquers, plunders, oppresses, enslaves, etc...everyone? I am not sure...

#4 Can you Democrats please stop giving me whiplash over Russia. First you guys applaud Obama for blasting Romney - because Romney (correctly) called Russia a geo-political adversary. So much Democrat BS about how Romney was stuck in the cold war, etc.... You Democrats also thought it was okay for Obama to offer Putin more flexibility in exchange for no waves before the 2012 election. It was okay for Obama to not put in place Bush's plan to put defenses in Poland.

NOW, Democrats are practically attacking anyone who offers any attempt to understand or not demonize everything Russia. It is okay for us to arm ISIS just to pee in Putin's soup!

Good to be independent.

Don't you agree that we should at least seek to understand where our opponents are coming from, their motives, etc...? Have you ever read any great military philosophers?

Was it a mistake for Obama-Bush to create power-vacuums all over the Middle East and then arm many terrorist groups -- if the excuse is that it might cost Russia a port? No wonder Russia wanted Hillary to lose.

Doesn't matter if you're independent or Democrat - I'm Democrat and agree it's a majority of Democrats who are creating this big "Russian is evil" drama because they keep repeating what their leaders want them too.

You never did address moon's question - how about starting with that?

Because of Obama we need them to send our Astronauts to space on their spaceships. This isn't something done by an unfriendly & hostile country. They have their self interests. So do we.

Democrats and their establishment hacks that support them are trying to make Russia an enemy. They need a false bogyman in order to remain relevant. Without it, they will have to address why they were swept from power at a national level, and that is the last thing they want to do.

Are you so sure? Of our time? Go talk to the people of Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan on this. In fact if you want to go back through the 20th century you will find the USA is far more guilty of your standard, than any other country on the planet.

The fact of the matter, Russia is our ally. It's only the Democrats and their establishment hacks who support them that are trying to make them an enemy so they have a bogyman to blame for their own failures.
