ahh. Plenty of Arab Jews immigrated to Israel. These Jews are Mizrahi Jews. Jews lived peacefully in the Middle East for centuries, often lived side by side with fellow Muslims. First thing is first. You have the Socialist Arab States which liked their Nazi and Soviet counterparts. Socialist in the Arab world persecuted Jews. Socialism does not like Jewry and will do anything in its power to keep Jews down. Socialism generally follows anti Zionist or anti semtic past. We saw this in Soviet Union, Nazi Germany. This also happened in Cuba where Jews fled after Castro came to power. Now I know why that so many Jews did not back Bernie Sanders.

You're forgetting a key part of North African history...And that was that the region was under Italian and Nazi dominion for quite some time leading up to the creation of an Israeli State. At first it wasn't the local Arab Muslims whom were pressuring Jews to get out, it was the fascists.
Then after Israel was created is when the dynamic changed, especially with the rise of Arab nationalism and socialism...these movements saw Jews as outsiders, not true Arabs and that they could not be trusted. All unfortunate events, but Israel's actions brought on this attention and the Arab resultantly started adopting European based anti-semitism.

This is very true from what I read and remember. Plenty of Arab states practiced anti Zionism and anti semtism. Much of these beliefs stemmed from Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy for Anti Semitism, and the Soviet Union for Anti Zionism. Prior to the mid 20th century. Jews lived together with Muslims peacefully. I love Mizrahi Israeli cuisine.

Post the creation of Israel, nearly all the Mizrahi were evicted from their homes in the Middle east and nearly all the Sephardi Jews were evicted from their homes in North Africa. They did not simply emigrate to Israel due to it coming into existence.
