The goal of the leaks has been to move the investigation along.

When it stalls, there is another leak.

So much outrage over leaks and "unmasking," yet so little concern over what the leaks are about.

So strange.

Is this a violation of the 4th Amendment and could presidents use this to blackmail opponents?

Rand Paul is right, she should come before congress, under oath, and face some questions...and if she gets caught lying again charge her with perjury.
They lie to Congress all the time and nothing happens to them.
John Brennan LIED (and spied on CongressCritters)
James Clapper LIED
Eric Holder LIED

They all just shrugged and said ... oops, mis-spoke.

A Grand Jury would be better

Susan Rice illegally unmasked names for political reasons
More pathetic and desperate deflection from the drowning man Donald Trump and his loyal group of lemmings, while more proof of Russia ties pour in.

Default Media Has Become Totally Corrupt: ABC, NBC Cover-Up Revelation Susan Rice Ordered Trump Aides Unmasked, CBS Defends

I knew the media was corrupt but not to this extent.

Boy was Thomas Jefferson right "A press that is free to investigate and criticize the government is absolutely essential in a nation that practices self-government and is therefore dependent on an educated and enlightened citizenry. On the other hand, newspapers too often take advantage of their freedom and publish lies and scurrilous gossip that could only deceive and mislead the people."

It went on a YEAR - if there was anything illegal that TeamTrump was doing - we would have known about it long ago. This surveillance was pure Politics and had zero to do with National Security.

Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies To Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump |Daily Caller
Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”

I think it is important to note, Susan Rice is not a career intelligence
agent; she is a political appointee that SERVES at the sole pleasure of the
president. What is her logic behind requesting unmasking of private, American citizens who haven't committed any crime?

If there was a crime, you can be sure we would have know about it a long time ago.
A sitting U.S. President condoning the continual spying on of a presidential candidate of the opposing party is unprecedented. It's a major breach of Trust - she had no warrant, they surveilled for a year and monitored phone/emails on an opposing Political Party and Presidential Candidate - later the President Elect. Kept a spreadsheet on what they were finding - this was a major operation. ALL for "Politics" and Power.

Their "defense" is going to be stonewall, get the media to ignore it and claim it was "legal".
There you go folks -- the Leftists claim it is absolutely "legal" to spy on American citizens for zero reason and then USE whatever information they collect in any way they choose - right up to getting it published in the newspaper. Because they Can, because they believe the Ends always Justify the Means and THEY are above the Laws and even common decency.

Its government corruption at its best. The White House is trying to cover up their scandals, and the party loyalists in Congress are doing all they can to help. The Trump admin should be an eye opener to those who still had faith in the US government.

I saw this on MSNBC last nite and heard it on the radio this morning.

From everything I've heard she would have been within her rights to do so.

Trump is desperately trying to change the conversation away from his campaign's Russian ties. He was tweeting about clinton again yesterday. Get over yourself, man!!

She wasn't rummaging through to find Russian stuff.
Today we will see a Washington post, nyt, and CNN about how democrat party is corrupt.

And now the Trump administration can hack and send the IRS to dig into Obama and Clinton's lives ASAP
