Or maybe they could not validate those concerns by voting this clown into office.

Or maybe morons get duped into voting for policies that will directly hurt them so they can stick it to minorities and gays and immigrants. That elongation of the estate tax will really help tha unemployed mill worker that he rushed to the ballot box for? Or maybe he'll stick it to the libs by voting to cut taxes for billionaires.

It's very doable. The USA is very fortunate to have such a diverse range of climates, almost anything can be grown. Some foods may end up being more expensive, but it can be done.

However, the US also suffers from natural disasters more than any other country on earth, so if a major hurricane compromised the entire rice region of the US, for instance, that might destabilize things a bit. In other words, it's putting more eggs in one basket (perhaps literally, ha) than if we have many countries we're importing from.

There's always genetically engineered goods, if the public is up for that. The technology is developing to allow foods to be artificially grown in labs.

That and the ethanol nonsense are favors to dem and repub money sources. Useless Ethanol has raised prices of products using corn.

To predict what MX will do and the impending doom is the stuff of liberal future projection fantasies. the situation has not played out and Trump is again the piniata'.

Maybe no one wants GMOs?

Thank you for your ongoing assistance in getting President Trump elected in '16 and re-elected in 2020, and then Pence in '24 and '28. We appreciate you help! Please keep it up.

It's somewhat satisfying seeing the fruits of the Trumpeter lemmings silliness happen so soon. But it's not like anyone with half a brain didn't see this coming. Wait for the China bilateral agreement. Sadly, the midwest will prob be hurt out by this...wonder which inner city they will blame this on this go 'round?
Not only a China bilateral agreement, just wait until a Russia-China SECURITY agreement with Mexico because of Trump. Mexico will soon happily base Chinese and Russia warships and submarines so that they can patrol the US coast. How long after that until the Chinese or Russians setup 'missile defense' in Mexico?

This is GREAT news. I am pro USA.

The elite 1% have been using tax dollars and grain dumping upon Mexico as a means of economic terrorism against Mexico (and the US labor force) since the birth of nafta.

That's what it's all about. Corn in the US was not worth growing. They took tax money to subsidize it. Yo put the indigenous Mexican farmer out of business.

So they would move to the cities and fill the factories as profiteers shipped jobs south of the border in order to make corporate windfall gains upon the export of labor.
