Good luck getting Trumpers to understand that LOL. Obama inhereted two wars and a recession from Bush.

obozo continued two wars and started 4 more problem areas
the recession was a liberal recession based on liberal policies started in the 90's
obozo did nothing for this country, ....and trump is 'trying' to fix it, probably wont be able to fix much though
Chains such as Sears, J.C. Penney, Macy’s, etc. have announced they will be closing hundreds of stores and laying off thousands of workers, and "retail is expected to create a big drag on overall hiring in the months ahead."
Right because we're a consumer and service industry based economy that is driven by the bottom 90 percent. The group of people that the top 1 percent has a stranglehold on and stagnant wages. How retail is doing effects the economy tremendously. Guess what effects how well retail is doing? How much money people have and their surplus of money after everything else is taken care of. When all of the economic gains are going to the top 1 percent, your country is in big trouble. The US is in big trouble.
Oh, is the UE number real now? I thought it was fake news and the real number was closer to 40%.
First, you are all over the OP who is and always has been a Trump hater. So the UE numbers have never been questioned by the OP.
Second, nobody in their right minds ever claimed the true number is 40%. I'm sure you just added that as dramatic sarcasm.
The actual or "TRUE UE" is currently 8.7%

I wouldn't underestimate Trump. The left believe they have the momentum, just as they did in 2010 when they lost the House in record fashion, and 2014 when they lost the Senate. Now they believe they have the momentum to turn Congress? They still believe whining and obstruction for the sake of saying NO will work for them as it did the Pubs. Completely different circumstances and optics. The Pubs sill represent what most Americans want, while the Dems only seeming to represent the extreme partisan base and fringe.
I expect 2018 will be another huge disappointment for them, especially if Trump continues this breakneck pace of repealing through EOs, loading up the lower courts with moderate conservative judges, and getting his way even in the face of so much opposition from both sides.
He certainly got the House pubs to work together which is an astonishing feat.
Then again Trump proclaimed the Electorial College was a rigged system until the EC elected him.
Regardless, there's been 8 continuous years of improvement and the trend persists.
