I don't know why people take such offense to any first lady's attire. Unless they're wearing something grossly inappropriate for the occasion (I have not seen such an outfit in recent years with the past are first ladies IIRC) then there is no issue and people are being partisan idiots.

In "my opinion" her attire is pretty. They have a right to their opinion too. Like you said unless grossly inappropriate, there is alot going on and to focus on this only proves they are nitpicking. There are many, many occasions where I could have made comments about Michele's dress but it wasn't important enough to bother.
