Listening to the first part of this and trying to figure out who is fighting who, and who is our enemy.
See if you can keep up. Even Carlson is confused.
What's not confusing is Graham wants war.
I don't want war as a general principle, but I do understand that these ISIS types need to be dealt with. However, they cannot be dealt with by typical means, like we are fighting another country, because they are not a country. They are an ideology, masquerading as a religion, that turns people into criminals. They are using the loophole of religion to make inroads into societies.
Why do "ISIS types" on the other side of the planet need to be dealt with?
Because they are a direct threat to the U.S.
ISIS types are everywhere right now. There is a hierarchy that exists, and it's probably in the middle east somewhere. The training is taking place somewhere. The social media that spreads their message takes place somewhere. We don't need to be fighting every "Joe ISIS" out there... but target the leadership and revenue stream that funds their operation.
