I'm glad to see the general public rallying against United.
Unlike some people on CD, most people realize that this isn't a case of an entitled passenger demanding to be boarded first or being disruptive because they can't hog the overhead bin space.
United can't even get their own rules straight. They trampled over a paying customer and screwed it all up.
So, at a minimum, the public narrative thus far might be disrupted. The question now becomes, who was he going to see? Patients, as alleged, or doing other things? While it has nothing to do with the way he was removed, it does sort of cast doubt on his legitimacy as a doctor and the narrative that he needed to go see patients as additional reasoning for us to feel sorry for him.
I did not see anywhere in your linked article that UA 'said' that.
Is this why he was pulled off the flight? If not, then I don't see the connection or how it changes any of the facts regarding how he was treated.

Exactly right! What does something the guy did more than a decade ago have to do with how he was treated on his PAID flight?
Airlines are getting full of themselves again. UAL stock is down 5% since and over 2% today. They'll be paying this man a nifty 6-7 figure OoCS, GUARANTEED! Hope those 4 seats were worth it. The men who dragged the guy off the plane should be fired and brought up on misdemeanor assault/battery charges.

Agreed, as you can see above. The fact that he is a doctor will have teams of lawyers salivating to represent him. If he were just a Joe the Plumber, probably not so much, though it would still be a huge settlement. People with money attract money, people who need money... not so much.
By not complying with the wishes of the private property owners that requested him to leave their property.
Not even just that, the screaming like a toddler when the inevitable happened and he got pulled out of his seat. He had ample opportunity to get up on his own. He could have gotten up when he saw security coming to get him.

IF the passenger had not already paid for a service/product (in this case, the flight), I agree, as in the case of those who refuse to serve MAGA-wearing hat patrons, or bake a wedding cake for a same sex wedding before payment for such was already rendered. BUT this passenger had already paid for the flight. That changes everything.
United Airways Lawyers digging dirt to smear his cred, in litigation.
Now you know why Progressives in both parties, pushed the Patriot Act and NDAA.
To dig dirt on Americans. Susan Rice proved that.
I got the dirt on you. You better do what I say, or else.
Nevermind all of that, I still think it's weird how this doctor was screaming like some kid. He should have acted like an adult and leave as requested. Deal with UA in the courts.
