The United States, Mexico and Canada announced details for a joint bid for the 2026 World Cup at a news conference on Monday on the 102nd floor of One World Trade Center in New York City.
If the ambitious three-nation bid, first reported last week by the Guardian, is successful it would be the first time a World Cup was co-hosted by multiple countries since the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan. The bid also comes at a time when the relationship between Mexico and the United States has come under scrutiny, with the US president, Donald Trump, vowing to build a wall on the Mexican border.
Seams that Lopez Obrador is performing Miracles. The Miracle of Trump not hating so much Mexicans so Mexicans don't vote for Lopez Obrador.

Just when I thought that We were getting Out of NAFTA.

We don't spend much time thinking about Mexico in the US. We just want the illegals to go home already.

Cool idea. World Cup is more fun for me than the Olympics.

Well, I can tell about a candidate who made his case talking about Illegal Immigrants, Building a Wall to Mexico, and Pulling out of NAFTA since Mexicans were stealing your good paying jobs. The rest of his speach was about mostly Nothing of Interest of US Citizens.

And the 60% of City Data quórum voted for him.

doesn't the host country get an automatic invite? it would be a shame if Canada and US hosted this party and had to stand out in the driveway looking into the windows

This would be an awesome thing if they can make it happen. The World Cup is a great event and hopefully they can get the corrupt FIFA officials out by then.

well with the date being 2016 there is a chance. But very unlikely if the tone does not change. How would people even travel here with Trump making traveling to the USA a hateful experience at many airports.
