I'm glad this happened. Now whenever some Trump supporter uses the Mail as an authority, I can use this as an example of why they shouldn't.
So, pretty comparable to the NYT or CNN then.

Why didn't she get the 150M she wanted then? If you get less than what you asked for, you've settled.

I'm pretty liberal, but take no joy in seeing a decent woman drug through the mud. Why is everything couched in the political terms of team fandom?

This was the lawsuit where she complained that it hurt her chances of monetizing the position of First Lady to sell "apparel, accessories, shoes, jewelry, hair care, skin care and fragrance".

Shoes. Trumpiest lawsuit ever.

Confusing. Her own lawyers said it was about her losing a "unique, once-in-lifetime opportunity" to launch a "broad-based commercial brand".

That is good. The claim was nothing but sensational outrage and an attempt to stir controversy and sell a few more papers.

The Left tells us how words matter mostly when they are being critical of Trump and it is nice to see that they matter when they come as an unwarranted attack on Trumps wife.

As usual you are right on the money.

I'm glad she won this for her own personal dignity. I'm sure the money will go to charity.

Not to often you see settlements where the losing party mades an unequivocal apology, admitting they were in the wrong. Principle not principal.

Funny how some will assume 2.9 million means guilt here but O'Reilly's 19 million is just to get rid of a nuisance issue.
