You cannot take trump literally when the situation requires negotiations and deal making. You certainly couldn't take mr red line obama or I was under sniper fire hillary literally.

Trump is about setting up negotiations, Obama and hillary were just about lying and misleading.

So if you broke a lamp when you were a kid and your mom said, 'do that again and I'll break your arm'.... you obviously took her seriously and are now being psychological scars and stumbling thru life misreading communications.
Potato..Potatoe---your guy's lies are good..the other guy's lies are bad---they're still lies.

More and more information is coming to light on Trump associates colluding with the Russian election hackers. It's certainly worth discussing a scenario where the President is simply trying to be on the record as anti Russia if and when indictments come down on some of his people.

Well he's spent the last two years sucking off Putin and kissing Russia's ass. No one but the trumpbots would believe he's anti-Russia.

He has no business telling other nations what to spend on defense.

If he thinks our so called allies are leeches, then leave NATO.

Trump is forcing China to change, because we are one of their big customers and the big part of their economy.

Small thinking Liberals never see the big picture!
Germany and France have no need to spend more on defense. Who plans on attacking them? Where are they looking to invade? Nowhere to my knowledge.

The Germans and French are as stupid as we are.

Trump changed his mind. Surprised?
Damn right. It's a useless alliance for us as Amercans.

We don't need NATO in a war with Russia because there's no need for us to EVER go to war with Russia at all.

Moreover, we don't have allies. We do have leeches however.

The US really does not need NATO and I see no benefit for the US being in it. The money that could be saved would be enormous. And if push comes to shove and the US would go to war, its closest allies (the one that actually help with the heavy lifting) would probably be there even without NATO. I am speaking of the British and Australia. France does contribute within NATO quite a bit but the rest the US would not really miss in any type of serious engagement.
The added benefit would be that the US would not always be "the idiot that cares" cares of course could be argued as actual follows up on the interests of NATO. Almost everywhere NATO goes and has military operations most participating countries come out smelling like roses, while the US is deemed the bad guy who yet again started some conflict. Never mind it had countries like Spain, Italy , Germany etc. with them........

Yet his cult followers still view him as great, meaning his campaign policies never actually meant anything to them, they just wanted to beat liberals.

What a petty bunch of morons.
