His wife meets him there after a long week of work, for a weekend long date.
He does his best deals on the golf coarse, where no spying and listening in is possible. Besides that, he doesn't play golf everytime he goes to the golf club. He has meeting rooms there to wheel and deal and no wiretapping.
He had no idea what he was getting into. It was all about his ego wanting to win. He promised everything during the campaign. And now that he won he has no idea how to run a country. He actually has to work with congress to get things done. But that's not the kind of person he is. He thought he could just come in and tell everyone what to do.
Stephen Colbert expanded on the joke of the dog who's been chasing the car for a decade or more & finally catches it. Having caught it, he doesn't know know what the heck to do with it. Mr. Colbert expanded the joke by saying something like - the dog is now driving the car & the American people are sitting in the back seat worriedly watching!
Agree with your analysis here. Also think his energy level will be revived when someone in his cadre of libertarian business-worshipping legislators lobbyist lawyer lapdogs explain the merits of 'trickle down economics' to him. When he sees how these benefit him & his family, he'll most likely perk right back up again.
Maybe it would be more helpful to consider how the decisions made today will impact the seventh generation from now?
I absolutely agree with this. I would like to see us consider it without anyone wishing another person a painful death.
