You'd figure a guy named O bomb A would be the guy to drop a bomb.
This bomb was never used anywhere, ever.
Supposedly where the green beret was killed last week.
On an ISIS stronghold.
Should make the other terrorist nations re-evaluate their strategy.
It amazes me that some people think bombing targets in Afghanistan will stop terrorism or wipe out groups like ISIS. I guess they haven't been paying attention to the news for the past 20 or 30 years. Also, the many posts that state Obama never bombed countries in the ME make me wonder if Trump supporters only listened to anti-Obama rhetoric for 8 years.
Under the Obama administration, there were plenty of air strikes and bombs dropped. In fact, just before Trump's inauguration there were several. Trump just likes the glory. Here's one from January ordered by President Obama.

Before anyone cried "fake news" the same story was on Fox and numerous other sources.
Also, most air strikes are never reported.

Even if we wipe out 90% of ISIS, another terrorist group will emerge in its place. For some strange reason, people seem to think the 9/11 attack happened during the Obama administration. Since then we've been in a perpetual state of war in the Middle East and 15 years later are still hearing from our leaders that they're going to end terrorism and fix that part of the world.
What nobody is asking is how did ISIS get to build tunnels and bunkers that require a moab to destroy? This sort of bomb is usually reserved for facilities that are a 1000 feet underground surrounded by 10 feet of concrete. I assure you they can't be built by hand while wearing sandals.
One bomb does not a victory make. Fighting this ideology will still go on for hundreds of years.
Especially when the guy running the show can't even organize an Easter Egg hunt.
I am an admitted hawk, but lets make sure we know what we are doing, have our allies lined up, and then go in and get it done once and for all. Wouldn't bother me if you could ice skate from Turkey to Afghanistan, but one isolated bomb in an area of thousands of square miles doesn't do much except fascinate the child playing with his toys.
America needs to be scared if they are not already.
It also serves as a recruiting tool for ISIS and disaffected Muslims living in the U.S. All those young men and women who ISIS flatters and cajoles over the internet now have a rallying point.
So not only we haven't been able to roll back the Taliban after 15 years, now we got ISIS too. One bomb won't do anything, and once they survive one we got nothing bigger.
If we put boots on the ground they'd be gone in a week, tops. Our military is no laughing matter. Make no mistake, we are just being nice right now. If we had the "public opinion" to do it, we would.

Yeah--I'm already scared.
Stop this recruiting nonsense. Who recruited the 9/11 hijackers? We were not in Iraq, or Afghanistan and there was no Gitmo or Abu Graib. There's always something to get excited about.
