Don't the Dems get the great majority of the inner city vote?

Hardly bastions of intellectualism.

In my area Trump got the good chunk of the suburbanite's votes. And I live in a solidly blue state.

Well for all the elitist's smarts they sure were dumb thinking Hillary would win. They dismissed all the people in the middle of the country who knew Hillary didn't have a chance.

So just who was/is the smartest?

I am an American citizen. I was born in this country

Donald Trump is a moronic jackass.

He will go down in history, should he not blow up the whole planet, as the worst president we have ever had.

The "people" did not elect him. The electors elected him. I mean, if you want to get technical.

Every citizen is fully within his/her rights to criticize the president.

I'll criticize him all I want.

America is great, no?

Trump thought Hillary was going to win. What does that make him?

I always knew he might win. I know his base.

I thought it was a very bad sketch and to me it is exactly why nobody watches the show.

They did a great job on OReilly Trump, that was funny and O'Reilly was spot on..

But the "hicks" one, is exactly what has been wrong with SNL for decades. JUST NOT FUNNY. forget the insult, it is comedy that is exactly what comedy is. I am sure someone with a better understanding of comedic terminology could put it much better, but it was just not funny and they should have thrown it in the trash
Exactly. The writing on the show is terrible, they have a few sketches a year that are funny and go viral like the larry david sketch where he is a 1980s character at shooting range but overall its become very mediocre and preachy. Right after the trump election they had the charachter hillary clinton at a piano doing the Leonard cohen ballad hallelujah, it was pathetic

lol. This guy. Amazing stuff right here. Just for starters for some people it was more of a vote against Hillary than for Trump. Also many educated people wanted Sanders over Hillary and knew she would struggle to win. Tons of people in the suburbs voted for Trump. There isn't anywhere near enough rural people educated and uneducated combined to push a candidate through. Lastly a lot of the same people you're talking about voted for Obama twice and that's how we won.

"An analysis of exit poll data by FiveThirtyEight finds that Trump voters have higher median household incomes than the typical American, and higher education levels too"

There were around 63 million people that voted for trump, and the election had a ton to do with the racial breakdown of the vote. Trump won college educated white males by a huge margin, he won white women, he even won white millennials.

Another reason Trump won. Hillary thought she couldn't lose so she floated along while Trump campaigned.

Precisely, and they did the same for Obama. Giving him tributes and flowers all the time he was in office. Pathetic is right.

Yes. All those with degrees in basket-weaving, gender studies, awareness studies, English poetry... they are so educated and smart!

That's why they're raking in the big bucks rather than slaving without benefits as adjunct professors... oh, uh... Nevermind.

Well, they're really really educated and smart, anyway!
