That's like saying Satan will win. I don't think so.

The battle is actually already over and liberalism won. The conservatives of today simply wish to remain at the level that the victories of liberalism in the past have drug them grudgingly forward to. The biggest problem for liberalism now is that it has pretty well worked its way out of a job. Sort of like a pharma company that made only smallpox and polio vaccines. The ills of the past are largely fixed, and so liberalism, rather than sort of fading into the background and assuming sort of a watchdog role to make sure there are no regressions to the evils of the past it solved, has become a solution looking for a problem in the hands of overly rabid progressives.

When the illness if over, you quit taking the medicine. Todays liberals dont get this. But todays liberals are largely rendered irrelevant by the overwhelming success of the liberals of the past. They have been left with animal rights, global warming, and the transgendered. Not exactly hero making stuff.

Don't you read the bible? Satan will win.

oremus Bible Browser : 2Timothy 3

"You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, brutes, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the outward form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid them! For among them are those who make their way into households and captivate silly women, overwhelmed by their sins and swayed by all kinds of desires, who are always being instructed and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth... Indeed, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived." - 2nd Timothy chapter 3

Another problem is highly educated people are usually more Liberal. Many people enter college as Cons and leave as Liberals. Then you have the media. Then you have the economic engine of all the big cities where Liberals dominate.

There really isn't anything to keep Conservatism strong outside of anger, racism and nationalism. Most Cons in power are not even true conservatives. They talk conservatism to get votes, then support bi-partisan or liberal policies once in office.

Big businesses support Cons for the tax benefits, but not the ideology. Most CEO's don't care about abortion or family values at all. They are snorting cocaine and sleeping with their secretary while married.

I'm not sure what the Cons will do after Trump implodes in the near future.

That's a fairly large heap of emotional, baseless supposition there.

You would be working those 10-16 hour days Monday - Saturday if progressives didn't push for the 40 hour work week during the 1930s. So please, go work those long hours and days before you complain about your current lifestyle you've gotten used to all thanks to progressives.

Let me tell everyone something... you had better notice what is taking place in the schools and colleges, because the each succeeding generation will be more and more liberal if there are not major philosophical changes adopted.

In that way, liberals will win - and the country will be the worse for it.

How will the country be the worse for it? Can you be more specific?

He was just liberal bashing. Trying to single out universities and schools as the blame for a younger generation who's more liberal in which he disagrees with. So the solution isn't to change his viewpoint or open his mind, but to change the school system.

Pretty typical of conservatives. If you can't win the game, rig the game.
