Liberals still are not getting that bashing and not taking responsibility for the last 8 years is not getting them any win other then in the 9 th circuit liberal court which sooner than later will be overturned.

It is amazing to follow the hate, bashing and still not getting it, that is going on in the Democratic Party and in liberal media 24/7

CNN even started to be positive about Megan Kelly and sounding like she is one of them. Well they can claim her, McCain and Lindsay Graham all day and enjoy wasting their time while Republicans enjoy each day that we have President Trump.

Even giving rewards to Chelsea Clinton will not help them other then be the joke of the day.

OR adversely

Republicans struggle to keep stronghold with candidates closest to Trump performing the worst. President Trump having to get involved in elections to keep the race close.

It's all in how you see it -- perception is everything.

And Pelosi and crew had to pump millions to give Ossoff, who doesn't even live in the 6th district, a chance? Both parties always help their own. o'bama tried somewhat to bail Hillary out. And even with all his worshippers, failed. Miserably.

What? Too soon?

If you actually listened to the Ossoff's message you would have heard a rather moderate point of view, he didn't bash anyone including Trump. He stated that the people in his district came first not politics and he would work with anyone to that end.

248 votes shy of an outright win is not a Republican triumph in a district where Republicans have overwhelmed for years.

It's in fact just the reverse of a triumph; it displays just how much trouble the GOP is headed into next year in the national election.

This race ain't exactly over yet, either. There will be a runoff, so bentlebee's crowing may be premature.

Hate? No. Anger at the Republican party and all it has failed to do? Yes. Plenty of that, for sure. Scoff now, Bent. Weep later.

So what? That's the point -- the DNC is suppose to support candidates in stronghold positions that are even remotely close.

You don't think the RNC supported candidates in those areas where Democrats had strongholds but were at risk.

Come on now -- stop with the silly arguments.

This was a close race in a district that has been overwhelmingly Republican. This is a strong message to Republicans and Trump.

These are the candidates we need to be voting for.

But instead folks are so afraid that their 'team' (party) will lose -- that they would rather have an idiot in office then someone who might be really a good candidate but not affiliated with their 'team'. And I use team purposely because it becomes blind loyalty and support at all costs.

And yes it goes both ways......In the north east I'm sure there are districts where the voters blindly vote for Democrats every time...not because they are the best candidates but because they support the party.

We all lose when that happens.

Now that the Republicans aren't splitting their vote 11 ways, it could make for an interesting runoff.

Hopefully the Koch brothers will step up and get a few million to the GOP candidate.

Would you support laws that would remove the straight party option and all party designations from general election ballots?

That wouldn't be such a bad idea after all.

It kind of does dumb down the system for us for us to have a straight party option or to identify so many elected positions as Republican or Democrat. I suspect most people don't bother to really listen to the stance on issues of each politician but just vote party line because they assume a party stands for something.
