Chinatown, Little italy, etc are different and not the product of race identity politics.
I agree and neither is any of the ethnic neighborhoods today.

Of course, if you want to live in the general society, you are subjected to the general public (which is made up of people from many different backgrounds and ethnicities). That is what America is - a belief that anyone from any place can come here and make something of themselves.

Now if you want to talk about authoritarianism...we got a President that I'm sure wouldn't mind some of that kind of power.
How will you be paying my property taxes and "improvements" on my property via zoning/construction codes?

I accept cash, Bitcoin and PayPal.

What does this have to do with multi-culturalism or American society being a melting pot?

Just illustrating there's no way out. We've been over this a million times though.

As far as immigration goes every human has the right to physically move to anywhere they want as long as they don't violate the non-aggression principle.

I don't believe in States.

Right-Libertarian viewpoint.

The only rights that need to be respected are individual rights and by extension private property rights.

The problem is we live in a welfare state.

"You can have open borders or you can have a welfare state. You cannot have both."---Milton Friedman.

Another complication is our interventions overseas tends to make us a lot of enemies which requires restrictive borders.
