This has the potential to be another embarrassing loss handed to tRump by his GOP congress.

Stay tuned for entertainment.

He knew he was spoofing you guys when he said it, but some of you swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. ("Oh, yeah, let's build a big wall to keep those Mexicans out.....that is a great idea !" )

And I haven't seen any check from Mexico yet, have you ?

Why do you keep repeating the same old nonsense over and over again? Has Trump said that he has changed his mind about the wall? Of course he expected opposition to it. Is that his fault? Hell no! How many times do I have to post the links how the good walls already in place work before you and yours stop claiming that they don't? How many times do we have to tell you that Trump never said that Mexico would write a check for it before you stop with this nonsense?

Why shouldn't we build a good wall already approved by congress on the most porous areas of our border to keep out intruders of all kinds? Your victim card for Mexicans is duly noted by just only mentioning them. I swear, the nastiness and lies by the liberals and ethnocentrics in here gets worse every day. It's disgusting!

Do you know why they dig tunnels?

Ever heard of tunnel sensors? Most illegals aren't coming here thru tunnels. Yeah, it's a collosell waste of money to be spending $20 billion on a wall but not a colloseel waste of money to be spending $113 billion a year on illegals.

Anyone voting against this should be voted out of office next election.

Actually, the wall was going to be a combination of natural obstacle, electronic surveillance, wall, fencing and increased border patrol agents. Very doable.

In 2006, they passed the Secure Fence Act, so this really isn't about President Trump, but doing the job the government is supposed to do, keeping the country secure, see the 10th Amendment: http://tenthamendmentcenter.com/2010...-constitution/

The $113 billion has been debunked FOR YEARS. It was written by an avowed white supremisist.

A Fox News "fact" on the supposed costs of illegal immigration to U.S. taxpayers was lifted from a study by the anti-immigrant hate group Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) that has been debunked as flawed.
Quote:
During a segment on Fox News' America's Newsroom discussing the new immigration reform plan soon to be released by a bi-partisan group in the Senate, Fox displayed a "Fox Facts" graphic as host Martha MacCallum interviewed Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC):

This so-called fact is based on research from the anti-immigrant hate group FAIR. In 2010, FAIR released a study titled, "The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers," which found "the annual costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local level to be about $113 billion." At the time the study was released, FoxNews.com defended both FAIR and the study.

But Fox failed to mention that the study has been debunked.
Quote:
FAIR has a long history of making anti-immigrant remarks and is connected to white nationalist organizations. The group's founder, John Tanton, is the modern day architect of the anti-immigrant, nativist movement and also has a history of making anti-immigrant and racially charged remarks.

Where do you think Republicans get their "news" and "facts"? This is what they think is a legitimate source.

"the annual costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local level to be about $113 billion."
Different pockets. The wall is coming out of the federal budget, so if Congress wants a cost savings offset then they have to show a tangible decline in other federal expenditure buckets - not state and local.
