do you agree?

Quote:
NC chairman Tom Perez has called for all Democrats to walk in lockstep with Planned Parenthood on the question of abortion rights, effectively ruling out the possibility of “pro-life Democrats.”
“Every Democrat, like every American, should support a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and her health,” Perez said in a statement. “That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state.”

“At a time when women’s rights are under assault from the White House, the Republican Congress, and in states across the country,” he added, “we must speak up for this principle as loudly as ever and with one voice.”

Shame the donors dont allow him to call for a Medicare-for-all litmus test. The abortion issue is not a threat to the donor class. Rich people can get abortions no matter what. As soon as the status quo economic power structure is threatened though , thats where the donors of the GOP and the corporate Democrats draw a line in the sand.

Not the most important issue to me either way.

I want the dems to concentrate on labor issues and bank/financial reform. If they actually get to get a serious plan/platform on those they can do whatever they like on social issues.

I agree with him, I want the Democratic Party to shrink to nothing...

I credit him for saying what's been the case with the Democrat Party for decades. If you feel it's wrong to butcher a fetus at any time until birth, you have no place in the ghoulish Democrat Party.

The baby-killing requirement is one of the many things that turned me against the Democrat Party.

How are we screwed for stating something that we have stated as a party in the past, we are a pro choice party, that has been true since the 70's

Update

I take that back, there are plenty of ignorant people who think believing abortion should be legal, as the Constitution and supreme court say it should, means you want to kill every child ever born.... or some crazy conspiracy theory like that.

John Bel Edwards, Governor of Louisiana, is pro-life. Does that hurt me any as a New Yorker? It is better than a Republican having that seat.

We've got to frame 2018 on the economy and forget about these stupid social issues that only lose us elections.
