Today's radicalized democrats are basically communists in training. Communism is a failed model, as we have plainly seen over the past century. No point in repeating the mistakes made in previous times, by previous people. Besides, no one would take a communist America seriously. The world would be laughing at us, and rightfully so.

They're Left on everything but economics and healthcare. That's why they're failing.

We had far more Leftists Presidents or as Left as Sanders that have left a legacy of laws and institutions that even Republicans and conservatives take for granted.

Fact of the matter is both the Dems and Reps pander to the lower class, and bow to the upper class. Their legislation by far favors those at the top, and the pendulum continues to swing back and forth, and now we have Trump.

Democrat Party has always been and still is about racism by granting special rights and privileges to certain races and about taking money from some to give to you for your vote. Republican party has always been about what's best for the entire nation. When the greedy and racist people exceed the fair minded, the Demorats will take control.

This brings up another point about the future of the Democratic party. According to Game Change Hillary complained in 2008 that Obama had beaten her by race-baiting. And Obama was successful with that strategy, winning 80% of the non-white vote in the general.

But meanwhile the GOP has been making slow but steady progress in attracting minority candidates (a particular cause for Trump's chief of staff Priebus). Many Dem pundits have predicted doom for the GOP because the white vote declines by about 2 percentage points each pres. cycle. The Census projects that whites will be a minority by 2044. But by 2044 the GOP should be no longer perceived as a whites-only party. Arguably we no longer are a whites-only party, but I think the perception has yet to catch up.

Democrats have and will continue to attack minorities that even hint that they agree with the right.

Great summary of how the democrat platform works. Also explains why the democrats are so divided.

Yes. We need a middle voting block. These fringe elements are killing us from both sides.

The fringe left thinking that only the U.S. Emits pollution is delusional. Thinking china and Russia will comply with some fictitious agreement is like trusting Iran with nukes. So the left doubles down on extreme environmental regulations while the left hero, Leo DiCaprio flies around solo on his private jet trying to lecture US about saving the environment.

Bernie Sanders: "The model of the Democratic Party is failing" - Videos - CBS News

SANDERS: I think what is clear to anyone who looks at where the Democratic Party today is, that the model of the Democratic Party is failing. We have a Republican president, who ran as a candidate as the most unpopular in modern history of this country. Republicans control the House, the Senate, two-thirds of governor’s chairs, and in the last eight years they have picked up 900 legislative seats.

The Democratic Party has got to take the lead, rally people, young people, working people, stand up to the billionaire class. And when we do that, you’re going to see voter turnout swell. You’re going to see people coming in and running for office. You’re going to see Democrats regain control of the United States Congress.

Lots of rallies for young people and encouraging working people to attack and demonize successful, rich, American workers is the strategy of the new Democrat Party? This plan when added to Perez, the Dnc chair, throwing out any Democrat who is pro-life from the party a few days ago makes me wonder if the Democrats will be able to even assemble a quorum at the polls in 2018.
Legislation failure after failure, stymied by the courts over his blatantly unconstitutional executive orders, reversals on so many of his major positions, yet they still adore the authoritarian buffoon.

While they ignore all the above, I keep hearing from his supporters that the only thing that matters is that he 'speaks like me and my friends and he comes off as being strong'.

Everyone knows that he was installed by a minority of white high school educated voters, so I can understand why they would think that the most powerful position in the world would be easy, or why they might not know that health care is 'so complicated'. But I don't understand why they want that kind of ignorance in their leader.

Do conservatives choose their doctors because they speak like they only have a high school education?!? Or does having a doctorate degree make someone an icky, 'elite'?!? Do they seek out and hire lawyers with little knowledge of how our government and our courts work?!?

And btw, asking the rich to pay their fair share is far from demonizing anyone...
