In any event, regardless of what may have transpired moments before the *jagoff took a swing at and hit the guy with the camera, the jagoff will not be able to successfully assert self defense.
I hope the jagoff learns a very rough lesson about battery and assault.

Still, the guy who committed the battery was not acting in self defense. He was on a bike and cannot claim to have belied, bot subjectively and objectively, that he feared imminent serious bodily harm or death at the hands of the guy he hit.
Set up or not, he committed an unjustified battery.

I wonder if any of these derilects sees the irony in that they claim to be anti fascists, then act exactly like fascists? Probably not.
