I wonder if mightleavenyc will come back into this post and speak on this. The Obamas are donating two million dollars of their own money to help inner-city Chicago kids stay busy during the summer.
That's more than what Trump has done so far, and he ran a campaign that promised to help "the warzone" that black neighborhoods have become.

So apparently Obama just reverse-trolled a bunch of you people LOL
I just heard on the radio that, when Obama accepted the $400,000 speaking gig, he and Michelle had already figured they would donate the entire amount, in addition to $1.6M of their own money, to that Chicago summer jobs program. To make it a full $2M.
This thread is full of angry conservatives who tried to paint Obama as greedy and said this was a "money grab," when all along, when Obama had accepted this $400K speaking gig, he had already planned on donating 100% of it. He wasn't planning on keeping a penny of it for himself. You guys just got TROLLED.
And I bet you, without a doubt, Obama did it on purpose. Knowing the right would freak out over him accepting a $400,000 speaking engagement....only to turn around and donate all of it.
