Pure speculation on your part. Reducing taxes does not spur economic growth. That's been proven time after time. What's the old saying? Doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results is the definition of insanity. How many more times do you want to pursue a failed policy?

It is early but other than a few items like losing real estate tax deductions he is really giving all the good news, there needs to be some pain.

This is just a first step but it sure leaves a lot to be desired, I don't see how they balance out the corporate and individual tax cuts.

No one, including the Republicans, cares about debt when it comes to free stuff for them.

They don't. Trump even stated he was ok with more debt.

No, it has been seen. It has been tried for decades now and been debunked as fantasy economics. No serious economist believe tax cuts pay for themselves. Its laughable and only the most partisan cheer leaders believe it.

It's about reducing Federal govenment spending.

Interesting take on Trump's "looney-tunes tax plan."

"As usual for President Trump, he has offered few details. But the outlines of his proposal, released Wednesday, are nothing short of hallucinatory. Next door to the White House, in the Treasury Department, there are actual economists who take seriously the responsibility of safeguarding the world's biggest national economy. They must be deeply embarrassed at now having to pretend that two plus two equals seven."

Yes, cut taxes on the ruling donor class, massive increases in government military spending, blow up the deficit and the debt, force deep cuts in Social Security, Medicare and other programs salt of the earth Americans rely on.

Basically, serve their donors and stick it to the people who vote for them.

To reduce the debt we either need to accept painful cuts, or tax higher those who can most afford it. Or both.

There's a LOT that could be done to save money as well.by eliminating waste.

But the plans for this administration is massively lower taxes aka Kansas. And spend massive amounts more. Given the grief people gave Obama for only slowing the rate of debt, most of the folks here should be out in the streets. Instead? Most just pretend it isn't happening. They ignore it. Lol. Hypocrisy at its finest. The little snowflakes can't handle truth, facts, and reality.
