Hasan Minhaj...........his name reminds me of Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
His family is from India and, yes, they are Muslim. His mother had him in the United States so he's a citizen. She then returned to India to study medicine but came back to the U.S. to give birth to his sister.

There are five freedoms enumerated in the 1qst Amendment. The press seems to think they're the only one. Perhaps they just don't know any better.
A nation is built on values, not just wealth. Trump has no values.
Riiight. That's why he just continued Obama's DACA...because he has "no values". He apparently values the lives of innocent children caught up in their parents' illegal activities.
I don't support DACA, and I'm not happy Trump went along with it. Yes, they are innocent to what their parents did, but it was the parents choice to do that, and their claims of "being split up" are their own doing. The children are still illegal, and they need to come in the right way.
Never heard of him either, but this night of roasting should just evolve into a more positive event. Some of the "jokes" were very uncalled for and meanspirited.

It is interesting to see how many folks think that the rally interfered with the 'airing' or coverage of the dinner or attendance.
Dinner was sold out, it was covered online and on CSpan the same as it ever was.
Trump's rally did nothing to take away from the dinner and probably did very little to promote Trump's image for those that struggle to accept him.
And here's the thing......many of Trump supporters are not blindly loyal to him. They aren't ready to take a bullet for him, beat up a protester, stand in line for hours to hear him complain about the media and those that don't like him. Those people that voted for him but not really liking him.....he's doing little to keep these voters loyal to him. So the rally was a success for those that are devoted but so what.....it means nothing.
He was purposely divisive......doing little to convince anyone who is on the fence that he is really looking out for ALL Americans.
That combined with the lack of any progress on any of the policies of substance...health care, immigration, jobs, jobs, jobs......the rally was just that a rally - come and gone with no lasting effect.
Trump's Rally wasn't meant to distract from anything. The President would rather be with the real people, the voters who he is working for. Not the media and democrats that lie, obstruct and what nothing more to see him fail because they have their own self-interests to protect and could care less about the well-being of the country.
The Muslim so-called comedian guy was perfect for that venue!
Cons just lack a sense of humor. It often shows on trump's face
