Trump tax cut plan eliminated itemized tax deductions - Business Insider

Itemized deductions are GONE under Trump's plan, save for a couple that benefits him.

Looks like you DID NOT read the fine print and is defending a tax plan that only existed in your head.

.
Part of President Donald Trump's tax reform outline would do away with itemized deductions on individuals' tax returns except for the mortgage and charitable giving deductions. Ok what other itemized deductions can you use? How much do you pay in mortgage interest?

It looks like you just tried to pull a Schumer and lied about it.

Here is an amortalization table,

- Plug in the cost of a $1million, $900,000, $300,000 etc (amount borrowed)
- Length of time (15, 30 years),
- then plug in todays mortgage rate (may vary)
- Answer the other questions

- Click Calculate
- Then click Show Amortization Schedule.
- Then add your state and local taxes.

1. Is the amount of mortgage interest and SALT more than $24,000 a year?
2. Look down the schedule, notice you pay less interest as time goes on. At what point will you no longer be able to itemize?
3. What happens as you near paying off or you pay off your mortgage?

Ok, you are NOT serious about this subject. When confronted with facts all you do is spin and spin.

petch751: You are lying if you say Trump wants to do away with most itemized deductions!!!!

petch751: Oh good, now that Trump is doing away with most itemized deductions, it will simplify the tax code!!!

Is it any wonder liberals consider right-wingers jokes.

This is EXACTLY what I've been trying to tell you ever since you lied about it and say Trump isn't doing that.

This is why right-wingers have such reputation as slimy, dishonest, and morally bankrupt. When called out on a lie, the standard reflex is to call the person tell the truth a liar.

If you have to ask, then you really don't know much about taxes.

One is called the SALT, look it up.

Why does it matter to you? It's a lot.

LOL, so your response is the typical liberal attacks. You took alot of time to say a whole lot of nothing in your attempt to divert. Schumer got caught lying, which if believed and support gained could hurt the middle class.

I did not divert anything. I linked to facts that directly contradicts the lies that you are trying to peddle.

After you got caught lying, you attempted to:

1. Play it off as if the facts that contradicts your lie somehow end up boasting your initial lie, hoping that no one calls you out on it; but this didn't work.

2. Then attempt to attack me as the one who was lying.

3. Then attempt to hurl insults at me.

4. And now, it's back to making very general statements not supported by facts. This time, you're smart enough to not cite any alternative fact links, hoping the lie can stand on its own.

At some point, you should realize that no one is buying your complete BS right?

Petch thinks he wins the debate by saying your response is typical for a liberal. It is common and laughable.
