Since the entire Leftist ideology revolves around the use of state power to get their way at the expense of everybody else, I would hardly characterize their behavior as "taking it without whining about it".

All this nonsense of right against the left has no place in intelligent conversation. You're all in this together. Neither party can claim the moral and ethical superiority. They have both been co-opted by special interests with an agenda that has anything but the welfare of ALL of you as it's priority.
