Do we know if they were asked or if they refused?

Just wandering for real.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer said they would be happy to make Obamacare better. That's not what the GOP wants though. They want TrumpCare and TrumpCare has to be a GOP plan. So what Paul Ryan is passing will be a GOP plan.

That's right. The GOP participated all the way up to the vote. Then they refused to vote for it. A lot of people forget that.

OK, I watched some campaign videos of Trump bragging about his wonderful, beautiful, tremendous healthcare plan for everyone. But, now he is pushing a plan that is opposite of what he was gushing about before. Why is he doing this? What's the rush? Is it just to get something passed?

Because he wanted the votes. He doesn't care what's in the plan.

The furthest right wingers don't want to cover pre-existing conditions so they put in a waiver so they don't have to. The moderates said that's a deal breaker so they gave them $8 billion to SHARE among the waiver states to pay for pre-existing conditions even though estimate it will need at least five times that much.

They want to offer cheaper plans so that means seniors will no longer get the price adjustments that kept their pricing lower, so they will be paying their real costs. It's just what one would expect a Republican plan to look like.

As for Medicaid, it will be block grants and those states can choose what they do with it. Certain states will probably use it to plug budget holes leaving those people with nothing.

And Trump will say it's the best plan ever.

^Well if this doesn't make people wise up to the Trump illusion, nothing will. I just hope his popularity doesn't soar because he got a "healthcare plan" passed.

Trump has no idea what it's that bill nor does he care. He just wants a win so he can boast about it...pathetic.

I thought anti-Trumpers said it would never happen... guess they lied... now they are claiming to be able to see the future... guess the lying never stopped....
