Obama, Michelle, and their kids are breathing. Does that interfere with you? Lighten up, your racism is showing.

Interference meddling, intrusion, intervention -- with the goal of affecting elections in another country -- are all the same no matter how it is done.

"opinions" by a citizen carry not much weight overseas. "Opinion" by a former President carries a lot of weight.

The former has no goal of actually influencing an election. The latter has it as a goal.

Barack Obama is certainly one hell of an endorsment.

You guys do not realize how bad things will turn out if Le Pen actually makes it to l'Elysée.

As for Russia, they haven't blatently wadded in to Foreign Elections in this manner, they might have covertly tried to influence elections but that is all, although the FBI did a fairly good job of getting involved in the US Election.
The president is still a citizen. In fact, it's a requirement that he be. The president has the right to speak his mind just as any citizen.

And yes, I think if Trump endorses Le Pen, that's fine. Perhaps I won't agree with the endorsement, but who cares? I already don't like Trump so I'm not really sitting around thinking about Trump's thoughts on France.

I say again, hacking an election and talking about one are not of the same caliber. It really doesn't matter if English citizens are upset that Obama commented. Him commenting is no different than the English PM commenting or the German chancellor commenting or anyone commenting. Until Obama hires people to get dirt on LePen by hacking her personal data, I don't think you can compare it to what Putin was alleged to have done.

The French Election has nothing to do with Obama, and beither did Brexit.
That is not why the Russians are being accused of influencing the election.

Please contact Theresa May.

Express your desire that she make some sort of public statement slagging on Obama for having a preference in the French election.

Keep us updated.

Carry on.

I don't see any clear evidence of the Russians doing anything.

I didn't see Putin on the TV telling us how we should vote in Brexit or how the French should vote.
