Mr King wrote this, “I had written about such men before. In The Dead Zone, Greg Stillson is a door-to-door Bible salesman with a gift of gab, a ready wit and the common touch.”

1st, no one really knows Trump except his family and those who closely work with him, which will come out after his presidency.

2nd....Trump does not have a gift of gab, not anywhere near close

Obama was charasmatic and has the gift that King is referring to.

Trump is not just "odd", he really shows signs of some much deeper issues.
Oh, BULL!!!

Are you sure you're not talking about the last guy? Narcissist Barack Obama? It sounds like it.

He doesn't ramble. That's all in your mind. Get over it!

LOL!!! Look who's talking about immaturity! Every Leftist out there who hates Trump can't get over their loss, and continue to act like crybabies over it!

Yeah, right. Perhaps you should look closer at your candidate, Hillary. You might see some things you just described in her.

You probably weren't concerned about what Obama was getting us into (or doing to us) were you? You probably weren't concerned about Hillary, who she was getting money from, and her making comments like, "We're going to be taking some things away from you." Or, "We're going to put a lot of coal miners out of business." And there was much worse, as well. That woman didn't bother you at all, I suppose?

There are a lot of people that know Trump quite well who know all that is being said like that above is pure bull. Newt Gingrich is one of those people, and he has just written a book about Trump. There are many others who have known him for years, and will testify that he is not what the Leftist want us to believe.

Leftists are still crying in their beer. The are unable to deal with the loss of their goddess, Hillary Clinton, whom they were told was going to "win in a landslide."

That's what all this nonsense is about. Nothing more. They are liars, and they are out to do as much damage to Trump (and in the process, to America) as possible. Period.

What they are doing also is making it much less likely that they will ever hold power again anytime soon.

Agreed. Moreover, it's clear Mr. Trump intended to capitalize on a Trump presidency by his plan to make money via new businesses (in addition to the many complicated mostly LLCs already in operation). His intent was evident while still a candidate, throughout his short time as President-elect, & right on up to the present day as (in his mind) his principle responsibility appears to be self-serving, & self-dealing as Opportunist-in-Chief.

Apparently, Mr. Trump views his 4 year gig as US President as a "unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity", to launch his broad-based commercial business strategy & to expand the 'Trump Brand' in multiple product categories, both here in the US, & in foreign Countries.

His (perhaps undiagnosed) Narcissistic Personality Disorder hinders his ability to see his blatant disregard for US Constitutional precepts, & the Presidential Oath itself, is viewed as seriously problematic.

Oh Boy, for Stephen King to say that. I guess nightmares do turn into reality sometimes.

I voted for Trump.....

no one, but no one on the face of this earth is perfect....we all have faults....Trumps is, that every time he opens his mouth, dribble comes out...he is at times embarrassing. However, there are other things that he does really well, but he does love to brag....you can see he is trying, but it doesn't always work. He is trying to speak more elegantly and in a tone so as the media won't mock him. But all in all, he is trying.

He doesn't have the charisma that other Presidents owned, but he is determined to try and do better for this country....I don't agree with all his views, but there have been many reports that he is a kind caring person.

We'll see...

and Trump did give them ammunition, in saying what he said about that one woman....in an interview several years ago....again, he was bragging and it wasn't right and he apologized...which is more than anyone can say about some of those late night tv show hosts.

Jury is still out but for me, it looks like he's surly trying...and everyone would be wise to not back corruption just b/c it's your party choice.

Steven King lives in the least diverse state in the whole country. On top of that he doesn't live in reality, but in fantasy. Why does what he says matter?
