And I say you are wrong. Sometimes words are used deliberately to demean and disrespect people. If you think calling anyone a racial slur is no big deal, then that is a problem. No one should be calling anyone such words.
Reading comprehension is a useful skill ... I'm talking about someone being 'caught' using it amongst their own people to describe a situation. Sometimes a slur is needed to describe a situation. Of course, it's wrong (and dangerous) to personally call someone that, but sometimes it's appropriate when the other person uses a racial slur first.
How many times did you hear 'white mofo,' 'cracker,' 'white trash,' 's**c' and 'ch**k' by those same blacks in high school?
Honestly, I never heard "white mofo" in my life. The "c" word, I never heard that word used in high school by Black students. I've heard the word "white trash" used mainly by White students. The other words, I've never heard them. The most common slur I ever heard from Black kids in my high school was the "N" word, and often the "ghetto" version of that word, referring to each other. I only know what I personally went through in high school living in the outskirts of metro Atlanta during the early 2000s.
I don't know where you people hear such language but I never heard this type of language or these insults in school or at home. Profanity was not allowed. This type of language is not used by my circle of friends and associates so it really is not a big deal in my world.
I live in and was raised in a very nice neighborhood, but it happens to be in Philadelphia, a lower-class black/Hispanic-dominated city. As much as I try to avoid the lower-classes, sometimes it's impossible. I went to good schools, too, never heard those words there.

This should really only be a debate within the black community, and the teacher in the original video should've asked a black adult if he wanted a serious debate. It's really not white peoples business what black people call each other in private

I'm a non-white "mixed" cat.
I only want the word "pineapple" discussed between Hawaiians.

Truth is, even some middle class people use alot of profanity. I lived around that.

There is no reason for you to use the N-word. If you use it you are a racist. The end.
I've had to read, write and say it for work. Everyone had to.
Were we all racists?
