So because Trump is President scientists can't do their jobs anymore. If they are that sensitive France might be a good place for them.

This is what is going to happen. Our best and brightest scientists and entrepreneurs are going to flee this increasingly backwards country and take their talents to countries that appreciate them. This is what the ignorance of the uneducated will get us. MAGA, indeed.
Can he invite the Lamestream Media and entertainment elites? Barbara Streisand and Stephen Colbert can bunk together. Along with Lena Duham and Ashley Judd, Van Jones -- gee the list gets longer.

The USA benefitted from the "brain drain" that flowed in from Europe in the past. We invented a lot of great things. We got Einstein, people like that.

Now it'll be the reverse. I have a millennial nephew with a PhD from Yale who works in Switzerland and loves it. The smart people who were of such value to this country will be heading elsewhere now. So sad to see our American lifestyle going down the drain.

Switzerland is a conservative country, more so that USA when USA taken is as a whole.

Ask your nephew if he would like to work in France. The answer might surprise you.

My husband is a scientist, and he's perusing opportunities in other countries, as are many of his colleagues. It has nothing to do with "being liberals" (some are not), just the potentially valid concern that the field of science is likely going to dry up under this Administration.

If they've gotta leave the USA in favor of greener pastures when it comes to opportunities to contribute to science, many will do just that.
