So you want to blame a judge who is not responsible for immigration law and not the federal government that is?
Again stop deflecting. The bottom line this is 1,000% on the Judge, and was totally avoidable. Had she done her job instead of acting as judicial activist, this country would have one less murdering waste of space, and two more doctors. Instead he is alive and they are dead!!!

The judge has NO jurisdiction in addressing immigration law. That is not deflecting, that is stating facts. The federal government does and either knew or should have known the status of the ones they grant green cards to but they did nothing.
So again, you want to blame a judge that does not have the ability to address immigration status but not those who do?
Few disagree that the status should have been removed. You simply fail to blame those who have that ability.

Again stop deflecting!!! Judge Lisa A. Grant gave him 364 days in jail instead of 365, because she was well aware that a sentence of one year or longer meant automatic deportation. Department of Homeland Security recommended deportation and she overruled them!!!
If said person is a green card holder, said person was here legally. I'm not for sanctuary cities, but if someone commits a grizzly crime like that, and said person is here the legal way, then you can't blame that on liberals or illegals. Last I checked, the vast majority of murders in the USA are committed by U.S. citizens.

One of the last things you want to do if you are in the United States on a visa or green card is commit a felony. Immigration officials may deport you or downgrade your status on the basis of a felony or even a non-felony conviction, depending on your current status, the type of offense, and the specific facts surrounding your case.
Initially enacted in 1988, aggravated felony was limited to serious crimes such as murder, federal drug trafficking, and the illicit trafficking of firearms and incendiary devices. Since then, Congress had added a number of offenses to the list, including (but not limited to) the following:
Bad judge. Very bad judge. She deliberately sentenced him to 364 days, not 365.
"Can Immigration deport me for any criminal conviction?
No. Only certain criminal convictions lead to your deportation. Some of the main ones are:
Murder
Drug trafficking (including possession with intent to distribute)
Money laundering involving over $10,000
Trafficking in firearms or explosives
Crime of violence with a sentence of at least 1 year
Theft, receipt of stolen property or burglary with a sentence of at least 1 year...
