Middle-school student Zachary Bowlin didn't bring a gun to school. He didn't say the word gun. He didn't do anything wrong, or dangerous, to merit a 10-day suspension from Edgewood Middle School in Trenton, Ohio.

Bowlin "liked" a picture of a gun on Istagram. That's it. He didn't do this during school hours, with school resources, or on school property.

Privatizing schools would be a wonderful move. We need to get the federal government out of education completely.

Really? So you want your tax dollars used to pay for other kid's education? You support the voucher programs being proposed?

You need to look at the bigger picture. People are already complaining about education the system. We would have a dumber society because of it.

It may be privatized but the government is still indirectly controlling it.

Let the kid address the school administrators and principal as " Dingus" from here on and just let it go at that. "Fussnecker" what an apt name for an fussbudgety idiot.

For some reason your post reminds of this scene in Porky's.

Let's get real for a change. The reason for privatizing schools is to limit education to the people that can afford to send their kids. The ideal is to reduce education for the poor and selected minorities. Private schools will also allow the teaching of the One Pure Religion of Mammon worshipping greed disguised as Kristianity. Muslims, Catholics, Jews, and other blasphemers need not apply.
