Rod Rosenstein's letter recommending Comey is fired - BBC News

this guy is an Obama appointee, highly respected by both the left and right, and was confirmed two weeks by a 94-6 vote

this letter goes into far more detail. Most of the media is ignoring all of this. The letter also takes the advice of several other attorney generals

this is just the case of the media creating hysteria again

The recommendation came from the assistant AG. I think the facts presented were valid. The swiftness of it is very odd.

How does firing Comey change anything in the FBI Russian investigation? Or the investigation in congress? If Trump did it just be vindictive over Flynn that would be troubling.
The left doesn't have an answer for that.

Whether comey is the FBI director or not isn't going to change the facts.

The facts are that there is no evidence of any Trump, Russian of collusion, or that there is an investigation of Trump for that matter.

Default you can literally watch the counter propaganda try and deal with this

Seriously. Watch some of the more popular places on the internet, and you can see it spread.

First- But you Democrats hated him!
that fails to get traction.
Second- But Clinton
Fails to get traction.
Third - Susan Rice is the real criminal!
REALLY fails to get traction.
Fourth-look at this letter from the guy who was a useful tool because he was still mad about how Clinton was handled!
LOL. A better attempt as they have had some time to think.

And you can watch it spread on various media.

Folks, I can't be sure this is driven by the Russians, but we DO know this is their modus operandi. That doesn't mean people saying it are Russian, it just means they are repeating talking points possibly from Russians. And it tells me the Russians didn't expect this. Because these are horrible distractions that are ridiculous on the face of them. This is what unprepared propaganda looks like. Which may mean Trump or sessions panicked when they saw that Comey was getting subpoenas, and that rumors of indictments were around.

Trump is meeting the Russians tomorrow. Should be interesting to see what happens next. The amount of deflection for something so obviously bad is VERY telling.

Still pretty torn up over the election I see.

One of those donut cushions might help with that butthurt.

I already read that. It's the TIMING that is suspicious. He should have been fired long ago. Why now? Why when he was going to testify about the Russian connection?

I do agree that Comey should have been terminated more professionally. No excuse for that.
The rationale provided by the WH for Comey's termination doesn't make any sense. NONE.
