She did win the popular vote, not that it matters. Most pre-election polls come down to the popular vote and they can end up wrong in a close contest where the electoral college goes the other way. The same thing happened in 2000. Gore was up in the polls and won the popular vote. Bush won the EC.
So BO left office with a 59% approval rating and Donny is currently at 35% and dropping. Just thought this might be interesting for those of you who are so hung up on comparing Trump to Obama all the time.
