The Left trying to hold the high ground on morality and family values is the real joke here. Remember, these are the people who want to teach your 3rd graders what fisting and anal sex is. They are also the ones who can't decide if they are male, female or somewhere in between. They are also the group that wants to do away with stuff like Mother's Day due to inclusiveness. I didn't vote for Trump, and won't vote for him in 2020, and I'm not a Republican. Would I rather have someone else as President? Yes....EXCEPT for Hillary. I was an Anyone But Hillary person. All of that said, I think the hand wringing and the level of hate since November 8th is ridiculous. There is one woman who has so many hateful posts about different aspects of our current political environment (not all of them about Trump) on many threads (with some members...not me...mentioning her hate on those threads), that I assumed she's probably bitter and alone. In a more recent post, I learned she has a family. Unless all of her venom is exhausted through her posts on CD and isn't apparent anywhere else, I feel sorry for her family.

I honor her on our anniversary and her birthday. Sometimes the corporate "special days" go overboard. I wonder when step mother's day will branch out as a holiday of its own

Stepmoms are honored on Mother's day as well.
I was a step mom for many years before I became a biological mom as well. It was a million times harder. Good Stepmoms do all of the work and still don't measure up to the biomom. Even one in my case who abandoned her kids.
