I am curious. He is the president after all. What is he doing for us right now? We've been hearing about the drama of the Comey firing and nothing about him tackling the issues that he promised. Is he going to spend his entire four years draining the swamp and doing nothing else? I looked for articles about it and found nothing. What about him are the supporters supporting? He's acting like a lame duck president (albeit a histrionic one) and he's barely four months in.
As per the Democracy Index, the US has already been downgraded from a “full democracy” to a “flawed democracy” since his election.
Long story short version: Mr. Trump appears to be working towards Mr. Bannon's goal to "deconstruct (i.e. destroy) the administrative state" by furthering its flaws:
Quote:
A populist movement across the United States, driven by perceived corruption and inequality, culminated in the election of Donald Trump. As is typical of populist leaders, Trump is attempting to consolidate power within his immediate circle. Trump’s approach is to discard traditional policy-making processes, then amplify his choices through social media in order to garner support.
Akin to populist maneuvering in other countries, Trump appears to be engaging in a strategy of undermining long-standing impartial U.S. Government institutions that are cornerstones of the national security and foreign policy apparatus. His tactics include public criticism, discounting the validity or worth of the organizations, and extreme budget cuts.
Trump’s unorthodox policy process results in confusion and inconsistent messaging between the White House and his Cabinet. It is not currently possible to obtain a clear or consistent understanding of U.S. domestic and foreign policy strategy.
As I noted earlier in this thread, President Trump is preparing for his first trip abroad. He shall visit Israel.
One of Mr. Trump's diplomats to that country made a rather unfortunate remark, informing the Israelis that the famed Western Wall is actually in the West Bank. It has the Israeli government a bit upset.
"These comments were not authorized by the White House. They do not reflect the US position, and certainly not the President's position."
Now, we all hope that Mr. Trump does not tweet something unfortunate to contradict this official statement. However, I am harassed by a sense of dread.
Supposedly he's going to the Middle East this week to bring peace to the area while ignoring the firestorm he created back here. Then he's going to Rome to set the Pope straight.
ROTFLMBO! I'm sure the word W-O-R-K is not is that fat turd's vocabulary, the only thing he knows how to do is have diarrhea of the mouth!

Probably on getting the Russians direct access to US intelligence databases.
