Specifically, who were the officials who are making this claim?

This story will have huge ramifications around the globe. Our allies in intelligence, who we vitally need, aren't going to continue to share info with a blabbermouth. They won't give OUR intel the info we need, as they have to assume a County's intel community has to share it with that Country's leader.

This is where the rubber meets the road. Watch to see if someone in our intel community resigns rather than continue to work with an unhinged leader.

Russia is an ally? Wow, I think some one is very confused or just refuses to see anything wrong here even though I know for a fact had Hillary done the same thing you would be calling for her to be arrested, tried for Treason and then hanged. Seems some people that consider themselves Americans and Patriots are now best buds with our worst enemy and they see nothing wrong with it because their fearless leader is right in the middle of it all up to his neck. Trumps days are numbered, don't worry about the Dems, it will be the Repubs that clean out the Whitehouse of the idiot.

Specifically ---Read the preceding posts

Here, I'll help ya out:

"Senior White House officials appeared to recognize quickly that Trump had overstepped and moved to contain the potential fallout.

Thomas P. Bossert, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, placed calls to the directors of the CIA and the NSA, services most directly involved in the intelligence-sharing arrangement with the partner.

One of Bossert’s subordinates also called for the problematic portion of Trump’s discussion to be stricken from internal memos and for the full transcript to be limited to a small circle of recipients, efforts to prevent sensitive details from being disseminated further or leaked."

So the options are Trump is 1. a complete moron who doesn't grasp what he did or 2. a treasonous POS. Same goes for any American on here who is inexplicably defending him.

YAWNNNNNNNN more FAUX outrage from the lefties. Russia is an ally in defeating ISIS and the information was about an ISIS planned attack that can now be stopped...I guess lefties WANT ISIS to attack eh?
What will Trump declassify next, the nuclear codes. You moved right past the utter stupidity of this to "it's legal".

Russia is not an ally, they are more interested in killing Syrian revolutionaries than ISIS, they want to protect Syria not kill ISIS. Did you miss the part that the information was withheld even from our allies.

Typical Trump supporter, nothing he does is ever wrong.

So, Bossert and crew will be next to be fired, clearly. Don't get on Trump's hit list. It's only a matter of time. No loyalty.

Wow. This is what America has fallen to. You don't care if a president sells out his country. If Obama or Bush or Clinton or any past president was pulling this, I would be saying the *exact* same thing. This isn't political for me whatsoever. There has to be a d*mn line.
