Wapo accusing the WH of playing "word games" and they're standing by the story. It's no surprise that the WH is denying it. They've denied everything. What else are they going to do?
Wapo has already been caught looking like fools by claiming that "sources" confirmed that the Deputy Attorney General threatened to resign. They stood by that story, too. That is, until the Deputy AG acknowledged that the story was nonsense and ridiculous when confronted by a no-name reporter in the halls of the Capitol.
But, still, even if there was something more to the story (doesn't look like it), I ask what was gained by leaking this news?
If the Russians didn't regard Trump as a fool before, they certainly do now.
But a very useful fool. Just look at those Russian grins on those Russian faces in the Russian photos from the Russian visit to the Russian, oops, I mean the White House, Oval Office.
It will be interesting to see if Trump recorded his conversation with his Russian pals last week - and if those tapes still exist or have been scrubbed. Of course, I'm sure the Russians had recording devices available, probably itty-bitty ones, kinda like Trump's...hands.
Already beginning to look like "fake news" and being discredited by the administration! We have more evidence against the former administration that borders on treason than we have on Trump, which is all fake so far.
Leftists are liars. We know that. I don't put anything past them.
You're arguing that the very people being accused of something should be the most trusted source in giving the truth. Are you really that gullible and naïve?
Greg Miller National Security Correspondent for the Washington Post wrote the story. Based on the discussions from the Intelligent Agency's in the White House showing concern over the Russian meeting in the White House. Not anonymous sources.
Why was McMasters press comments so short and didn't take questions if the story is fake to defend the President? Because it is not.
McMasters used deflection saying certain things were not revealed that had nothing to do with the story.
As it was explained during the Obama admin, when the president reveals something by mentioning it in a conversation, or thru a TV interview or a public address, then it's no longer classified.

Look, a traitor more worried about the leak than any potential consequences of the action. Where the hell are the real Americans?

You don't know. You say that with such confidence as if you actually KNOW. You don't.
Sorry to break it to you, but your denial on City-Data won't keep the news in DC from coming out LOL.
