Well, the article they reference below says the NY Times hasn't actually seen the memo. They talk about it being "presented" in what form I do not know, maybe liberal delusionism. The Justice Dept refused to acknowledge whether there was such a memo.
So, if they didn't see the memo, how do they know it exists? Comey didn't verify that he wrote such a memo or was told that or did I miss something?
Suddenly, the right-wing is very interested in facts, and those facts must have been seen by the public for it to be credible.....
If James Comey left a paper trail, which is what is being alleged, and if others at the FBI knew about said paper trail, then Congress can subpoena the memos that Comey authored; they'll still be on file with the FBI.
Of course conservatives are going to say this is fake news - because if it's real, then it's pretty much concrete evidence of a concerted attempt by President Trump to obstruct justice. Remember that term, it was one of the charges leveled against President Richard Nixon in the articles of impeachment drawn up against him.
President Trump still might not be impeached, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell might still protect him, but for how much longer?
McConnell just said that the drama coming from the WH needs to stop. I think it's the end of the line for 45. Everyone is sick of his crap. You can't get any work done bc he's nonstop stupid.
And we really believe that. Like we believed the fake story that Comey had asked for more funds for the phony "Russian connection" investigation just before Trump fired him.
Apparently Comey kept meticulous records of all his meetings with trump. Can't wait to hear him talk!
Shocker - Chaffetz says he will unilaterally subpoena the memos!
