You're framing the question in an odd way. Democrats do not hold a majority, and have not for quite some time.

If Trump is somehow ever impeached, it'll fully be on the Republicans.

What is he gonna be impeached on, though? On what grounds?

Seriously, it's foolish when the only "sources" of information when things happen are "random US officials have sourced us with this information". It doesn't hold much of a candle.

Honestly, instead of letting the man fail for himself, the Dems are just making themselves look worse by keep bringing up alleged stories, rather than let Trump do his thing. If he fails, let it be on him. But I'm bored of the "OHHHH GUESS WHAT!?! TRUMP INTERACTED WITH RUSSIA SO...HES GOTTA BE IMPEACHED FOR SOME REASON!"

Every week, it's a new "bombshell"...only for it to be nothing but noise and old news by the next week.
