When reporters behave like picadors in daily briefings, trying desperately to taunt and embarrass Sean Spicer rather than listen and report on what he’s saying, it undermines our free society's right to accurate information. The daily briefing may draw big audiences as a reality television spectacle, but it does not serve the country or President Trump well.
While there remain some serious, historically-minded reporters, they are unfortunately becoming more of a rarity. Instead, much of the Washington press corps has become an incestuous collection of voyeurs who watch, judge, and attack without knowledge or responsibility. This creates a hostile, propagandistic, and distorted version of news coverage.
I remember back when Obama used to avoid Fox like The Plague and would appear only under tightly controlled circumstances, while the rest of the media used to fawn all over him and ask softball questions.
Liberals loved it back then. Called it Faux News.

It's a battle to the death, Trump and the American people versus the Left Stream Media and their Leftists Fascists...who kills who?
The mind of a trump follower, words or killing and death, in other words do it the way we say or we will kill. Good to know I will be with the vast majority of Americans that will be happy to put the Donald on the street and deal with those that show they value a politician over the Constitution, the Law, or the Nation.

You joke - but this thinking is becoming very real and prevalent with certain people. It's dangerous territory.
You're right, Trump doesn't owe the media anything. But in that same regard, the media does not owe Trump anything either. Especially since he has insulted the media so many times.
If it wasn't for the media flashing him all over the place, Trump would never have even gotten past the primaries.
